Play this, and read on…
winter is bitter sweet, and so it must be. the sweet is so very seasonal, as it inspires in ways summer can’t, and wont. the bitter is rooted in the very stuff in which the sweet grows; they come together. but the bitter is only bad if we don’t let it be – if we embrace it, and let it overcome us, succumb to it, then it is a blanket upon us, nurturing and leading us onwards, in sweet subtleness.
tonight, I surrendered to winter, to grey, to white, to cold, to the beauty of loneliness. I think every winter is the same, and when it creeps up on me, and slumber hits, and I realize my body is want to hibernate, and my spirit is need to hibernate.. then this is truly a night of release, of letting go.Advertisements
